Good news for visitors to the UK as the landscape for international travel from the US and other important inbound markets is now clearer.
The Government has removed the strict testing and quarantine regulations put in place to manage the Omicron variant. Additionally Transport Secretary Grant Shapps set out the new rules for internaional arrivals to the UK creating “a settled status when it comes to these rules” and “stabilising the system for what we hope is the rest of 2022 and into the future”
From 11th Feb 2022 the need to take a Coronavirus test on arrival in the UK is removed for fully vaccinated and unvaccinated visitors. Travellers will be able to enter the country without any need to test before or after their journey.
