Day 1: Newquay & St Ives
Kick off your Cornwall trip in the surf town of Newquay. Check out the beaches, browse the shops and grab seaside fare for lunch. Then continue up the coast to charming St Ives. Wander through the narrow streets, pop into galleries and studios, and stroll around the picturesque harbor. End with a fresh seafood dinner as a group.
Day 2: Penzance, Land’s End & Sennen Cove
Spend your second day exploring West Cornwall. Begin in Penzance, taking in sub-tropical Morrab Gardens and Penlee House Gallery. Venture out to the dramatic cliffs of Land’s End, England’s most westerly point. Walk a section of the coastal path before finishing up in Sennen Cove for sunset on the beach.
Day 3: Padstow & Port Isaac
Head up the north coast to Padstow, browsing the shops and galleries before indulging in legendary seafood. Continue on to Port Isaac, the real-life Portwenn from Doc Martin. Spend the afternoon wandering the snaking harborside streets and cottages. Cap it off with dinner overlooking the water.
Day 4: Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan
After three days on the coast, head inland to Cornwall’s lush gardens. Immerse yourself among exotic plants from around the world at the fascinating Eden Project biomes. Get lost in the sprawling 200 acres of gardens at the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Day 5: Tintagel Castle & Boscastle
Journey up the coast to walk among the ruins of Tintagel Castle, steeped in Arthurian legends. Take loads of photos on the beach below. Then continue on to Boscastle for a relaxing pub lunch and to wander this picture-perfect fishing village.
Day 6: St. Michael’s Mount & Mousehole
Visit iconic St. Michael’s Mount, a monastery set on a tidal island. Tour the castle and gardens before the tide comes in. Then hop over to delightful Mousehole to meander the tiny harbor and grab an authentic Cornish cream tea.
Day 7: Fowey & Looe
On your last day, explore the idyllic harbor town of Fowey. Enjoy browsing the shops, galleries and trails. Then continue on to Looe with time for fishing, relaxing on the beach or strolling along the riverfront. End your trip with a special farewell dinner in Looe.
