The options for group travel and tours in Cornwall are now clearer with the requirement to test in arrival for fully vaccinated travellers removed. All hotels, hospitality venues and attractions are operating normally.

Coronavirus rules and restriction from Government can change, but as specialist tour operator we can advise on current best practice and offer itineraries that meet your groups requirements. You can find the lastest travel guidance for visitors to the UK here.

About Us

Our team, with extensive experience in the special interest group and FIT markets, can create a complete Cornwall solution or include it as part of broader program including London, Southern England and throughout the rest of the UK and Ireland. We specialise in the German speaking markets working with operators, group leaders and agents. Covering all inbound markets including Italy, France, Scandinavia, US and Australia. We are the recommended overseas travel trade partner of the official tourist boards Visit Cornwall, Island Partnership on Scilly and Cornwall Newquay Airport.

What does all this mean for groups travelling by coach or minibus?

The Government recognise the value of international business travel and tourism to the UK, and propose explore the potential for “tour bubbles” by extending the model successfully used for sports teams to cover inbound group tours. Additionally seeking potential benefits from the prospect of vaccines on the horizon, the group could arrive together and use private transport to visit a number of COVID-19 secure venues, all while staying together as a group and following local regulations.

Recently we have received more inquiries from our customers about how health protection is guaranteed during the bus trip. The individual coach companies create separate hygiene protocols for this, which may differ in detail (also depending on the requirements of the respective responsible Govt authorities), but basically include the following precautions when travel is possible:

All trips are carried out with thoroughly cleaned and disinfected buses.

The toilet facilities are constantly cleaned. Many bus companies urge guests to only use the on-board toilets in an emergency. Instead, more frequent breaks are taken at rest stops.

The air conditioning systems of modern coaches completely exchange the entire room air within a few minutes. Powerful filters ensure that any bacteria and viruses are effectively filtered.

Not all seats are occupied on the buses. To this end, the tour operators sometimes use larger buses than necessary for the number of participants or travel with several vehicles than before.

Disinfectants are available for drivers and travelers. When getting in and out, a minimum distance of 1.50 meters from other people is observed.

Guests are assigned a fixed seat for the entire journey.

Mouth and nose covering must be worn when getting on and off the bus and during the bus journey.
