Day 1: Newquay & St Ives
Kick off your Cornwall adventure in Newquay, the surfing capital of the UK. After enjoying the golden beaches and browsing the shops, continue up the coast to charming St Ives. Wander through the narrow cobblestone streets, pop into art galleries and studios, and take in the gorgeous harbor views. End with a fresh seafood dinner as a group.
Day 2: Penzance, Land’s End & Sennen Cove
Start your day exploring Penzance, including the sub-tropical Morrab Gardens. Then venture out to the dramatic cliffs of Land’s End, England’s most westerly point. Walk a section of the stunning coastal path before ending in Sennen Cove to catch the sunset on the beach.
Day 3: Padstow & Port Isaac
Head up the coast on day three to Padstow, browsing the harbor town’s shops and galleries before indulging in legendary local seafood. Then visit Port Isaac, the real-life Portwenn from Doc Martin. Wander through this picturesque fishing village and snap photos of the cottages.
Day 4: Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan
After three days on the coast, head inland to immerse yourself in Cornwall’s lush gardens. Explore exotic plants from around the world at the Eden Project’s biomes. Get lost wandering through the expansive Lost Gardens of Heligan.
Day 5: Tintagel Castle & Fowey
Return to the coast and venture to Tintagel Castle, steeped in Arthurian legends with dramatic coastal views. Then relax in Fowey, browsing the shops and galleries or taking a hike. Enjoy a farewell dinner featuring the freshest local seafood.
Day 6: St Michael’s Mount & Mousehole
On your last day, visit iconic St Michael’s Mount, a monastery set on a tidal island. Tour the castle and gardens before the tide comes in. Then continue on to delightful Mousehole to wander the harbor and enjoy a Cornish cream tea.
