Day 1: Newquay and St Ives
Kick off your Cornwall adventure in Newquay, the surfing capital of the UK. Check out the beaches, browse the shops on Fore Street, and enjoy seaside fare like fish and chips. Then head up the coast to beautiful St Ives, taking time to explore the narrow cobblestone streets, pop into art galleries, and stroll around the harbor. End the day with a group dinner featuring fresh seafood.
Day 2: Land’s End, Sennen Cove, and Penzance
Venture out to the dramatic cliffs of Land’s End, England’s most westerly point. Capture the iconic signpost and breathtaking coastal views. Stop in Sennen Cove for lunch on the beach and to watch surfers ride the waves. Then continue on to the fishing town of Penzance to see its array of galleries, shops, and pubs. Wander through the sub-tropical Morrab Gardens before dinner.
Day 3: Padstow, Port Isaac, and Tintagel
Day three takes you up the north coast. Start in Padstow, browsing the shops and galleries before indulging in a seafood lunch. Then visit Port Isaac, the real-life fishing village of Portwenn in Doc Martin. End the day at Tintagel Castle with its Arthurian legends and spectacular coastal setting.
Day 4: The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan
On your last day, explore Cornwall’s lush gardens. Immerse yourself in exotic plants from around the world at the Eden Project’s Rainforest and Mediterranean biomes. Then get lost wandering through the expansive Lost Gardens of Heligan. Finish your trip with a farewell dinner and drinks in Mevagissey.
