The luggage allowance on the flights from Newquay, Land's End and Exeter is 15kg (33lb) per person; no single piece of luggage will be carried if the weight exceeds 20kg (44lb). The luggage allowance on the Scillionan Ferry from Penzance is 25kg (55lb) per person.
You can travel to the Isles of Scilly by air or sea. Skybus flies 8 and 16 seat plabes to St Mary's from Land's End and Newquay all year round, and from Exeter during the summer months. Flights from Land's End take approximately 15 minutes, flights from Newquay take 30 minutes and flights from Exeter take around an hour. Additionally from Penzance a 15 minute helicopter service flies to Tresco and St Mary's. There are up to 17 flights a day. You can also sail on Scillonian III from Penzance to St Mary's between March and October. The crossing lasts approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes.
